The high sales of a film naturally have a great impact on the production of similar examples and can become a temporary trend. The most important reason for this is the clichés and tried-and-tested formulas that have a box office and the audience also reacts positively to them.

In Molotov Cocktail, Ahmad Rafizadeh explores the final months of the Pahlavi regime and shapes his story by relying on his hero, Parviz. A full-fledged acting love who is the blackest of the theater troupe and is also responsible for the electrical work of a hotel cabaret.

Jhaleh’s acquaintance with Parviz, which later leads to their marriage, takes place in a theater, and some funny jokes are made. The coincidence of Parviz’s marriage ceremony with the military government in the fall of 1979 provides other jokes, most of which revolve around Jhaleh’s father’s hatred of Parviz.

The film progresses relatively well up to the first turning point, with the help of the narration performed by Mehdi Hashemi. Parviz’s winning lottery ticket is the first turning point that gives the story a twist and takes it into a different space.
